Narrative
According to Ross Tuckey, James Drake was a Royal Naval Officer who drowned. However, it doesn't seem to be as straight as that. His ex wife, Hannah Eliza Davies sought a marriage settlement from The High Court of Justice, Chancery Division in 1900. So it seems that Hannah and James divorced - he may have drowned subsequently.
